Meet Darcy, a beautiful light tabby with pretty stripes and large, round eyes.  She had a tough start coming from a hoarding situation so she’s a bit shy and still learning to trust. Darcy is a gentle, sweet soul who needs a patient adopter who will help draw her out of her shell. Being in a home with other animals is preferred as they bring her comfort and will help her acclimate.  Her story is a testament to resilience, and shes ready to start a new chapter. She deserves a loving home where she can continue to grow and flourish. Will you give her a chance and help unlock the love she has to give?  Darcy would do best in a home with older cat-experienced children and no young children.  She was born around March 2023.

Darcy is positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but don’t let that deter you from adopting her! FIV positive cats can live with other kitties as long as they do well with one another. FIV is only passed from cat to cat by deep bite wounds. Casual contact and sharing a household poses no risk.
