Mona is a young grey and white domestic short hair. She is about a year old, if that, and is very small and quiet. Mona is being adopted out via Feral to Family, and currently lives in foster care in Sound Beach, NY. Mona was found in Shirley in March of 2021 living under a shed with her babies. After being fed for a few weeks by a good samaritan, she and her babies were rescued and immediately placed in a loving foster home. While very shy and reserved, Mona is incredibly sweet. She loves to be pet and rubbed and loves to lay on comfy pillows, once she is comfortable with her surroundings. While she is nervous at first, Mona loves to play and chase toys when she feels comfortable enough to do so. Mona would do best in a calm home with other pets who will love her as much as she loves them. She wants nothing more than to cuddle with another cat and feel safe with them. She has yet to cuddle with one of her human friends, but we are sure that once she is adopted into the right home, she will settle in with them as well.
