Pretty pattered pussycats pursuing potential purrever pads. Patches would be the PERFECT apartment cat for a single person. While she may never be a lap cat she does like to hang out with people. She’s a very quiet older cat around 8-10 years old. She would do well with an adopter looking for a companion rather than a needy cat they had to entertain. Patches starts out shy around strangers, but is fine with some time to adjust. She doesn’t mind being petted but she LOVES have her back scratched! Stripes is kind of a pseudo scaredy-cat. She likes to “hide” behind the cabinet while leaning out to see what her foster mom is doing. Silly Stripes falls into the cat-egory of “I flunked out of the barn cat program”. She’s too “soft” to be a working cat but she not exactly a pet. At 4 years old, she’s a complex cat in that even though her foster mom can’t touch her, she still wants to interact with her. Stripes never used to make eye contact, she now seeks it out. She also loves to lick Churu treats off her foster mom’s finger at treat time! She would be a great buddy for any single cat that needs a friend. Ideally, Patches and Stripes will find a loving home together (and are sponsored as “two cats for one fee”). But both would do well in homes with another adult cat. They were trapped together and enjoy each other’s company, but aren’t necessary bonded to one another. They are both spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped and ready to find their furrever families.
