Meet Thor - A Gentle Soul in Need of a Forever Home

Name: Thor
Age: 7 years old
Weight: 8 pounds
Color: Orange and White Tabby

Thors story is one that tugs at the heartstrings. This sweet 7-year-old orange and white tabby came to our shelter with his brother Loki after their owner passed away. They relied on each other for comfort during a difficult time. While we hope to find them both loving homes, wed like to tell you more about Thor.

Thor is not just any cat; hes a gentle, soulful companion who is good with other cats. Hes litterbox trained and well-behaved. However, we must be honest with you - we dont have any medical or behavioral background information about him. We only know that hes a loving cat who needs a second chance.

Adoption Restrictions:
Because Thor is unaltered, there are certain adoption restrictions in place. To adopt Thor or any other unaltered animal from our shelter, you must be a resident of either Stafford County or one of the neighboring counties, including Caroline, Culpeper, Fauquier, Fredericksburg City, King George, Prince William, or Spotsylvania. If you reside outside of these specified counties, you can still adopt a pet that has already been spayed or neutered.

We appreciate your understanding, as our primary aim is to promote responsible pet ownership, and these adoption guidelines align with state regulations to safeguard the welfare of our furry companions.

Our Limitations:
We want to express our sincere gratitude for considering adoption. However, please be aware that our shelter does not employ a resident veterinarian. Its crucial that you make arrangements for necessary veterinary care for your adopted pet outside of our facility.

Adoption Process:
To proceed with the adoption, youll need to present a photo ID displaying your current address. If your address isnt on your ID, you may bring a current utility bill bearing your name and address alongside your photo ID. This verification process ensures the safety and well-being of the animals under our care.

For the safety of all our feline residents, we mandate that cats be transported in a carrier. If you dont have one, we offer cardboard pet carriers available for purchase at $5 each. This ensures a secure and comfortable transition for your new family member.
