Gypsy came to us from an awful hoarding eviction situation and was surrendered into our care through our local animal care officers. She was malnourished and neglected and as a senior kitty in poor shape, she was also suffering from a chronic kidney disease, a slight heart mur mur and urinary stones. She wasnt eating and this contributed to her condition at the time of arrival. Very frightened of the shelter environment when she arrived, our volunteers at ARF quickly provided appropriate vet care for her and found a suitable foster home so that she would be more comfortable as she was not responding well in the shelter environment around lots of activity and other cats. In her loving foster home, she is on her way to a healthy recovery for her age and is thriving as best she can for an old girl. She still has some minor dandruff on her back (from being malnourished) that will clear up soon with the proper continued nutrition and grooming she is receiving in foster. She is a very sweet and gentle kitty and just wants a safe space and gentle, quiet home to live out the rest of her years in peace and love with an adult who will spoil her. She is such a sweet and deserving kitty.
