Rosie is looking for her forever home Hi. My name is Rosie. I am a Shepard mix, somewhere around a year old. My young life hasnt been easy. I was roaming the Navajo Nation for a while until I found a lady who had some sheep. I seem to have a natural ability to herd cuz thats what I did. I herded her sheep and she gave me food. She noticed that there was something wrong with my back left leg so she reached out to Yavapai Humane Trappers and they helped get me to Prescott to see a vet. Well, my leg was beyond repair so they had to amputate it. Ive been recovering at my foster moms place and she says Im doing really well! I am completely healed from the surgery and Im getting around just fine. Im able to do stairs and a ramp and I like running around with my yard mates. It takes me a little bit to get comfortable with new people but once I do, look out. Ill be your best buddy! I like dogs too! I am becoming fast friends and playmate with fellow foster, Mama Alma. I would love to have a home with a playmate. We ask for a secure fenced yard and someone with some at home time during the day. In order to be considered for adoption please complete the pre-adoption form found on our website at yavapaihumanetrappers.org. You can also click on the "MORE ABOUT US" tab and scroll down to our "Adoption Application" link
