Sweet Solana, a shepherd cross (possibly collie / heeler) is looking for a home. She currently weighs 40 pounds. Solana and her litter of 5 were found near the SPCA Puerto Vallarta sanctuary. Their mum Keisha was tied up and left blind after surviving being poisoned. The puppies were in very poor condition suffering from malnourishment at such a young age. Solana has had refuge in the sanctuary, but it was recently hit by a hurricane. Shes safe, but its crowded and she would love a home to call her own. Solana loves the beach, swimming and playing frisbee and is medium energy. She loves her siblings. She has lived her early life in the sanctuary so would love a patient supportive home to help her adjust to a life in a loving home. She may be timid with strangers as a result, but does enjoy outings with volunteers. Longer road trips make her a bit nauseous. Solana is good with dogs and cats but shy at first, so she’d like a slow introduction, but might benefit from a confident furry friend to show her the world. Solana’s rural and quiet start in life makes her a dog that would not do well in an urban setting or apartment building. Solana is now healthy, spayed and vaccinated. She is ready to fly to Canada for a better life. If you think you might be a good fit for Solana please email pvcaadoptions@gmail.com and tell us a little bit about yourself, and we can send you an application, or go directly to our application here: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw Adoption fee $400 USD
