Jammie is a 6lb, 5 yr old, female Maltese who is bonded to her brother Joey.

They are friendly and happy who like to play with toys and each other. They are spunky and lively like most Maltese.    

Jammie and Joey are engaging dogs who will make wonderful companions for whoever adopts them.  Although they get along with each other, they can be bullies when it comes to other dogs in the home, so they would do best as only dogs.  

The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC and VA.

WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME (NO YOUNG CHILDREN) WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD FOR JAMMIE & JOEYS ADOPTIVE HOME.  The secure fence must be 4ft or higher, with gaps no greater than 1 1/2 inches and attached to the home. An invisible fence, enclosed patio, terrace or deck, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT.  No exceptions.  

There is an application process and adoption fee. 

We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. 
Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. 

Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. 

Adoption Fee: $450 each ($900 for the pair).
