Description:
Mabel is a sweet mamma dog who came in as a stray. The shelter staff tried to find puppies because she looked like she recently had nursed, but were unable to find any. She’s got a really sweet temperament, likes to play. She’s probably 5 yrs old. Pretty brindle coat. She is good with male dogs but not with other females.
She also seems to like kids. She does great on outings with volunteers, loves the attention!

Please call the Ashland County Dog Shelter at 419 289-1455 to schedule a meet and greet! Adoption hours are Tuesday-Friday 8am to 6pm. Hours may vary on holiday weeks.

Each $175 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, current dog license, heartworm test, microchip, collar and leash.

All dogs are listed as spayed/ neutered indicating that will be done as part of the adoption process if not already done at the time of posting. Most shelter dogs are difficult to classify as house-trained or not due to they often have to wait long times between potty breaks.
