Description:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Story arrived as an owner surrender on Oct. 4th. Before she came to us, shed already been through several homes that didnt give her stability or everything she needed. We named her Story because shes had quite the story to her life before even hitting a year old. Shes a very petite pit bull type dog mixed with lab and most likely some other breeds. Shes very shy right now but is slowly coming out of her shell. When shes more comfortable, well get her vet checked and spayed. Her fee is $150.

Story does need basic training. She hasnt had a lot of work on leash walking but is slowly getting the idea. Shes looking for a somewhat calm home in which she wont be left alone for long hours. She needs someone who is ready, willing, and able to work with her on proper socialization and confidence. We think she would do okay with another well mannered and social dog. Cats? Were not sure. Kids over 10 would be best.

NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications can be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. Its exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.
