Description:
Cinder is an exceptional, very unique dog. Her history is unclear but
what is known is from the time she was a puppy until now at about 3
years old, Cinder has lived in a shelter or a rescue. She has been with
Operation Scarlet for about 1 1/2 years of that time. While at Operation
Scarlet, Cinder has learned some basic obedience and continues to work
on learning appropriate behaviors for a dog whether it’s playing and
interacting with a volunteer or entertaining herself. She loves walks
and walks well on a leash. She’s very smart and learns new things
quickly. She is eager to learn and thrives on the mental stimulation and
attention. Since Cinder may never have lived in a home she can be
unpredictable when encountering something new, whether it’s a person, a
sound or a movement. Once you earn her trust, Cinder shows how sweet she
can be. She needs a secure fenced-in yard and a home with no pets or
children. She needs a home with someone who has training experience and
is willing to teach her new skills, along with a lot of love, which she
will return ten-fold. A potential adopter must have knowledge of and
experience with the Shar Pei breed. Cinder, short for Cinderella, will
show you the true princess she is, if given the chance. If you’d like
to meet Cinder please go to the Operation Scarlet web site,
operationscarlet.com, and fill out an application.
Hours are by
