This is Kim, she was transfered into our care 6 months ago from another rescue that busted her out of a puppy mill where she was using her for puppies. Shes a roughly 8 year old, 13 lb shih tzu. Her foster parents have been working hard ro show her humans arent scary. She has come a long way, but is still going to need a patient owner who will give her the time she needs to settle in. A fenced in yard is required. She is fine with other animals but would prefer those who respect space. She is currently gated in the kitchen in her foster home when left alone & does well. She is doing good with potty training, unless she is left for long periods of time. She tolerates being picked up, but is still very anxious. She would prefer a home with no small children as they move fast & are scary. She is fixed, up to date on shots, heartworm tested, microchipped, & dewormed. She would love to find a forever home who will love her & help her to feel safe & secure.
