Gladys! Please read her whole profile. People see the cutesy little floofs and immediately want to adopt them, but Gladys needs a special family/person. She is around 8 years old and was found by one of our volunteers, just running the streets. As you can see in her before pic, she was in bad shape. She has cleaned up nicely, weve had her fully vetted, and we have loved watching her blossom! She needs patience and understanding, and MUST have other animals in her home. She LOVE dogs and cats, its where she takes her comfort. She is afraid of people, especially men, and needs time to learn to trust. She has not an aggressive bone in her body, she is the sweetest little thing. It took about a month for Gladys to voluntarily seek out her foster mom for pets and attention. She is truly a very low maintenance dog overall (aside from needing regular grooming). She is so happy and content to just lay in a bed and watch everything around her. She enjoys the company of other animals and has learned to enjoy the company of her foster family. She will likely never be comfortable as a "public" dog, prefers to be a homebody and stick to what is familiar. If you are seeking a shy sweetheart as a companion for you and your current pets, Gladys would be a wise choice!
