Hi, are you a little pittie lover?! I’m a little pittie with a lot of love to give. My name is Zelda, I’m currently in Mexico at The Cantu Foundation sanctuary and I’m hoping to find my forever family really soon! I’ve been at the sanctuary for a while and I am doing really well here. My life had a rough start and I was chained up for my first five years without much food, water or any socialization. No one really taught me how to be a dog and I was really malnourished living on the chain. I’ve made an amazing recovery and I am so happy that the people at The Cantu Foundation have put so much time and energy into saving me. My story is sad but I know the next chapters of my life will be so happy! I LOVE humans. Like, a lot. I bond really quickly with people and can’t wait to meet my forever family. I haven’t spent a ton of time with kids since I’m at the sanctuary right now, but my friends here think I’d do well with kids since I love all people so much. I prefer to be the only dog in the home. Like I said, I wasn’t really socialized with other dogs while I was growing up and I’m happiest as a solo dog now. It’s cool though, I have enough love to give my humans that you’ll think you have (at least!) two new best friends! Funny enough though, I do get along well with CATS! I am also looking for new humans that have some dog experience and will continue to help me learn dog manners like leash walking, potty training, etc. I hope my new family sets good boundaries for me and are strong dog leaders. I admire my humans and aim to please! I also aim to cuddle a lot! I hope you’re still interested in meeting me after reading a little bit about me! I’d love to meet you and see if we are the perfect fit! If I sound like the right fit for you and you want to take me home so we can hang out together all the time, please fill out the form on the website here http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html I can’t wait to be best friends! My adoption fee is $150, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like the dog for you? I sure hope so!
