Chelsea has been with Colony Cats since January 2021. The volunteers are not sure why! During this time, she has put on a little weight that she is trying to lose to be healthier. She is a lovely girl who likes to be in the mix of all things going on and is a great supervisor of tasks. She likes to be near people and to get lots of cheek head rubs. Because of her current body size, she does have some issues grooming certain parts of her body, but that will be fixed once she can be more flexible. Chelsea LOVES playing red dot and is surprisingly fast! She almost always catches it! Like many cats, Chelsea will give a swat here or there either when she is very happy, or when she has been touched enough. Chelsea purred almost non-stop in her foster home and liked laying beside people. She took a bit of time to warm up in her foster home, so when you meet her at the shelter she may be a little stand-off-ish, but dont worry! She will quickly acclimate to her new home and people. Her little grunts and trills are most endearing and she doesnt mind being picked up. Will you be the one to help this great girl on her weight-loss journey to become the best version of herself and love her forever? She wont let you down. Brown tabbies often get overlooked, but Chelsea is not one to stay in the background!
