Meet Sadie Mae #5, a sweet and enthusiastic 4 year old, 65 lb lab. She’s sweet with people and playful with other dogs, but does need a slow introduction when meeting new dogs. She loves to play fetch, and will bring you the smallest of “toothpicks” (small branches) to toss for her. She knows basic commands like sit and stay, and isn’t a runner. She’d rather be by her people more than anything else except food. She loves food! She also gets surprised by her tail even though she’s had it for almost four years, and will chase it in circles for couple minutes. She’s get anxious at the vet’s office, but enjoys the attention before and after examination. Sadie Mae is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. She just wants to please everyone and be loved by her forever family. She will be an excellent, constant companion. For additional information about Sadie Mae #5 please email Deb Cook Keavy at deb.cook.keavy@labs4rescue.org.
