Hes been great with mellow dogs of all sizes, and respects cats and gives them space. Hes loved all people and adores kids, but with his size might be best fit with ages 5 and up, as hes not aware hes a large dog!

Bubba is a couch potato that is down for an occasional adventure. He always up for a car ride, trail walks or a walks around the neighborhood and afterwards excited for cuddles on the couch. If youre looking for a XL lap dog and dont mind that your legs might fall asleep when he lays on you, Bubba might be a great fit. Hes not aware that hes a hefty dog and does have to be reminded of his size!

Bubba is not a fan of loud noises like the lawnmower and thunderstorms. He has worn a thunder shirt for storms and that has seemed to help. He will need someone that is okay with comforting and reassuring him with his loud noise anxiety. Bubba joined Last Hope as a local dog that was found to be heartworm positive. He has undergone a long treatment and recovery and is now a healthy and happy dog! It is very important that his forever family understands the importance of routine vet care and monthly heartworm preventatives year round as this will be required for his continued health.

Bubbas adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations and preventatives.
