Description:
Hoss is the ultimate “buddy” dog! He loves adventures and he loves all other beings. Headed on a walk? He’d love to meander with you. Movies on the couch? He’s in! Road trip to the beach? He loves the car! His tail only stops wagging when he is sleeping - he is a happy, healthy puppy who is looking for people of his own.

We’re told he’s a Bluetick Coonhound/American Bulldog mix born on 4/6/23, but we know he’s the perfect cuddle buddy who loves a good nap just as much as he loves to play. Hoss gets along with other dogs (big and small!) and is sweet as pie with people. He’s picking up on his training quickly, and is completely potty trained. Hoss sleeps through the night and eats like a champ, often giving you some happy grumbles when he knows it’s meal-time. Hoss will make a great addition to any home! He would be happy with a dog sibling to play with or would be just as happy to have you all to himself!

Hoss is a gorgeous and lovable boy and is patiently waiting to meet his new family! He is hoping you will apply for him soon so he can give you all the kisses and entertain you with his adorable personality!

He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and heartworm negative.

Please note: as with most rescue puppies, we have no way to guarantee this puppy’s breed or size potential. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be neutered when age appropriate.

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to please visit our website to complete an application and read all of our FAQs: https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

**Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescues approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250

For additional information, including the adoption process and our adoption fee scale for all our adoptable pets, see our FAQs page: https://www.takepawsrescue.org/faq

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!

**Any breed labels used by Take Paws Rescue, its employees/volunteers, or on vet records provided cannot be guaranteed.
