Meet the one and only Big Boy Scout! ? Scout is a male two-year-old pit mix. Scout was found by a sweet samaritan who changed his life forever. He was found roaming the streets dodging traffic and was sunburnt from being on the streets so long…. He never got to witness his first pup cup, hug, or even a human touch. He is a sweet soul who is learning how to be a dog every day. He sleeps all day and loves watching sports and eating pizza with his foster dad. He is a big couch potato. He will not say no to Netflix and snacks! He is a great listener and has made such great progress. He is a great listener! He is very gentle when giving treats. Scout is looking for someone who will have patience with him and keep working with him on his training. He is food-motivated and will learn any trick for a treat! He is currently working on leash training and not to pull. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained. He loves being in his crate and doesnt mind being in it. You wont wear a peep from him. All he asks is for you to play a good show. Things that scare him: the leaf blower, and hairdryer. People blowing in his face. He is very sensitive around his ears and doesnt like them to be pulled or touched. He gets scared of men with hats on, but once the hat is off and can see the face he is fine. Special requirements for Scout- he needs a fenced-in backyard. He is dog-selective and shows alpha traits. He would do best in a home with females that have a calm temperament or as the only dog. He does fine with cats, he is more interested in how big your couch is to sleep on than playing with the cats. Scout would do best in a home with older kids. Scout currently is staying with a foster in a townhome, he isn’t a hyperactive dog that needs a big backyard just a little area to go to the bathroom and sunbathe. He is living with a 13-year-old female dog and does great with her. Scout is neutered and fully vaccinated. He will come with a rabies Tag and microchip. He is HW negative. He will get a health Certificate before traveling. All of our Dogs get multiple rounds of dewormer and are on flea tick and heartworm prevention while in our care. His adoption fee is $250 and his transport fee is $185. Click the link for Big Boy Scout! Big boys need love too!? https://form.jotform.com/CLMR/oos-adoption-application
