Buddy is approximately 3 year old Terrier/Cur/Husky/Shepherd type mix. He weighs approximately 70-75 pounds.

When Buddy first arrived he was extremely nervous and unsure when first meeting dogs. With slow and proper intros to a few balanced pups, hes improved tremendously. With proper intros, he does pretty well with large female dogs. He is also okay with male dogs who are calm and respectful. At first arrival, Buddy needed to have his own space to take time away from his friends to avoid becoming over stimulated but with training and time hes become more relaxed and tolerant. When hes had enough playing, he will excuse him self and go rest for awhile. Buddy has a prey drive and wants to run after and chase the cats - he would do best without any in the home.

Buddy is very nervous meeting new people and tends to bark at first. He does great meeting children and ladies. He is extremely unsure of men, and will try to avoid them. With some time, he has become tolerant of the men in his life, but would greatly prefer not to interact with them. He will need a patient home who is willing to work on building his confidence in the world. Once Buddy trusts you, he is the goofiest and most loving & loyal dog!

Buddy adores playing fetch and going for hikes/walks. He also loves hanging out with the family watching TV. With his medium energy level, Buddy does well with long walks or a good game of fetch. He also thrives with obedience training and learning new commands. Buddy is kennel trained and house trained and has a great grasp on most of his commands.

Buddy is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and current on his preventatives. Buddys adoption donation fee is $250.00.
