*****We are Good Catch Dog Rescue. The dogs in our care are fostered by either ourselves or close friends. We are in Texas, and we transport our dogs North because TX is flooded with unwanted dogs already.
All of our dogs are vaccinated and on preventatives. Dogs older than 6 months are spayed or neutered. Our dogs live with us, not in boarding, and they are part of our family. Please visit our website to learn more about our family and our dogs. Goodcatchdogrescue.org*****

Tater Tot was rescued by his fosters from an overcrowded county shelter in South Texas.
This 26 pound and 9-month-old happy chappy has been a pleasure since the first day he came into their lives. He has joyfully joined his foster familys pack and has lived amicably alongside their 3 house cats.
"Tater" as hes known at home, is a bundle of energy. He bounces when he walks and he is so, so happy to meet anyone at any time. Hes gone to work with his fosters and is loved by all.
Tater will thrive in a home with a yard where he can get daily exercise and zoomies. He does well with children but is still a jumper so wed recommend kids over the age of 6 who can tell him "down" and help to continue his training.
Tater will make an amazing companion to a lucky family and would pair well with most dogs if they can manage his young spirit.
His coat is wiry, and his stature is small, but his markings are that of a heeler. He has some of the heelers traits where he takes notice of the cows in a neighboring field and will probably have the instinct to herd but isnt as independent as a heeler. He loves the company of other dogs and is very playful with them.
Tater is housetrained, crate trained, rides well in a car, microchipped, fully vetted, on preventatives and neutered. He is ready for his ticket to Foreverville and we look forward to finding him his best fitting family.

We use trusted transport partners to safely deliver our adopted dogs to the Northeast.

Taters adoption fee is $350 and transport is an additional $300.
