Meet Edgar- a best guessed 7-month-old, 40-pound, Aussie Cattle Dog/Heeler Mix.  Edgar is looking for a home that is active and understanding of this breed- they are a very smart breed requiring much mind and body activity to keep them busy.   Edgar will need continued training, socialization, and basics- but has mastered potty training, crate training and has shown he is a quick learner.  

Edgar has shown he can play with other dogs and cats that are understanding of his breed and puppy play. Edgar has not been around children, but we strongly recommend older children- or a home with breed experience.  Edgar has done well in a fenced yard and with his breed it is recommended. His foster says the following on Edgars overall behavior:
Edgar is a puppy and needs to keep busy due to his breed.  He is very smart and can figure out any puzzle toy quickly.  He loves attention and following around his person.
