Meet Hornitos, one of seven hound puppies that came into our program through our finder foster program. A nice family took in a female dog off of the streets only to find out, surprise! Shes pregnant! This lovely family has been taking care of the puppies, teaching them the ropes of how to be good dogs. Hornitos is being taught potty training and really getting the hang of it! As a hound puppy, he loves to take long naps, snuggle, play with heavy duty chew toys, and eat! Oh boy can they eat! Hornitos is good with cats, has been super sweet with kids, and if the kid is old enough to deal with a growing puppy he will be a great family dog. 

Hornitos has had their 1st round of puppy shots, is on heart worm preventative, microchipped, and will be neutered at no cost to the adopter.


CAREs adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside pets and spend lots of time with their families.
