Rex was an owner surrender. He wasnt socialized at all and was quite thin. He has gained 20lbs since coming to the rescue. Rex recently was neutered and had a hernia repair surgery. Rex needs slow introductions to new people and does well with confident humans with dog experience. Anxious people or dog fearful people do not mix with him. He does wonderful with children, theyre are his preferred people. 

Rex is dog friendly, currently living with a female dalmation foster sister, and recently took to doggie daycare like a champ. He loves water and is a master cuddler. Rex is very protective of his family and home, socialization is vital for his success.

While currently fostered in Welland Ontario, travel for adoption inquires is possible. Rex lives with a family with 2 kids and does great.

Ideally, a family with dog savvy kids, another dog, who is home often, would be perfect.
