Bad things happen to good people, so why shouldnt bad things happen to good dogs? I am a 3-year-old boxer mix name King who just needs a chance to live up to my name. When I was found I was so scared of people; they only did bad things to me like tase me, throw things at me, and starve me for their own amusement. I decided that never again was anyone going to touch me -- never hurt me. Through lots of treats and patience, the ladies here began to crack my rock-hard exterior. Im still a little scared but slowly I am learning to trust and best of all I am learning all sorts of new tricks. King has already been neutered and is looking for his forever home. The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, Frontline application, spay or neuter surgery, collar, ID tag and a leash. A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold the pet for you for 5 days. The Shelter is open Tuesday to Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Friday 10am-3pm and the first and third Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.
