Description:
Meet Scamp, our gentle giant!

Scamp is practically a life-size stuffed animal. He has the softest fur and the most calming and loving demeanor. You might just forget that he is a dog for a second!

Scamp is just under two years old and weighs around 75 lbs! He has the most beautiful tan fur with gray teddy bear ears that bounce when he walks!

Sadly, Scamp didnt always have such beautiful fur. He was previously left tied outside 24/7 in all types of weather. Poor Scamp suffered from rain rot where his coat had matted to his skin. After undergoing treatment and medication, Scamps skin has healed and hes as handsome as they come!

Scamp is a complete gentleman in the car and enjoys letting that beautiful big head of hair flow in the breeze!
Scamp is also a great walker on leash. He does not pull at all and just simply enjoys taking a nice stroll around the block.

Scamp loves all people and he even has some doggy friends already at STAF!
This guy would make a great companion and hes looking for some humans that will give him the love and care that he truly deserves.

Please check back for updates as we get to know Scamp better.

• All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
• We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
• We require a 4-foot-tall physical fence for homes with children under the age of 11. We also may require a physical fence for specific dogs on a case-by-case basis, depending on each dog’s behavior and exercise needs.
• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
• We do request vet and personal references.
• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
