Meet Manchego a British Longhair mix born about mid 2022. Manchego was found as a stray and landed himself in a rural shelter. His hair was so matted from neglect it had to be shaved off exposing skin sores due to those mats. He wasnt chipped or neutered but was sweet and wanted love. He was failed by people who were supposed to love him but he has a forgiving heart and learning that he deserves all the love! 

Manchego is a young but chill guy who will greet you when you come home. He is easy to please, happy to have a soft place to nap and head scratches when he says hello. This guy has big paws and makes the best biscuits with them! He has a quiet meow and doesnt make a fuss, unless you have treats. He gets excited over treats and wet food! Manchego is even allowing cuddles which was something he wasnt sure about at first but has come around to know that they feel pretty good! Proof that this boy is nothing but love! He would do best in a quiet, calm environment as an only cat or would be ok with another calm cat or dog that will leave him alone. He prefers human companions over furry ones! He has excellent litter manners.

Our cats are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in other states. These cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.

Our out of state adoption fee is $575. This fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, combo test, spay/neuter, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.

As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
