This handsome fella is in a foster home. Please email jpadak@gmail.com for more information and to meet him!

George is asking Santa for his furever home this year. As we have learned, this sweet muppet of a pup will need a very specific fit, but we know his people are out there!

George may look a bit long in the tooth- but looks can be deceiving- according to the veterinarians, he is between 18-24 months old. He has lots of energy, and would do best in a home with a fenced yard. *please no renters, due to his size and breed most landlords will not welcome him. We are sorry, but with a dog this big it’s a necessity.

George is painfully shy with humans, and can be a little picky with other dogs as well. With humans, his people will have to be VERY patient and very understanding, as it will take a good bit of time for him to warm up. In his current foster setting, after a couple of months, he has finally come out of his shell. Once he is comfortable, he’s an amazing fella! Very sweet, very compliant, very happy to steal your socks!!

Again, George is a younger dog and very strong (he is approx. 125lbs for reference)- so big dog experience and ability is a must to be able to hang onto this nervous moose and help him continue to build confidence.

He has been ok with older children (10 and up). He has been fine with cats that are bossy and will put him in his place, if your cats are too approachable- he gets ideas.

If you think you may be a fit for young George- please submit your application today! If you have additional questions, please submit to jpadak@gmail.com
Please know that the foster Mom would like to do multiple meet and greets to make sure it will be a good fit.
