Hi, my name is Chico! I am an 11-month-old, 12lb Chihuahua mix. I was not socialized well as a pup & will need a home who can help show me that the world isnt so scary. I am comfy while inside, and am growing more comfy with going out in the play yard every day. I still need work with walking on leash, and would do best in a home with a fenced yard! I have gotten along with everyone Ive met so far, including various people & other dogs, but dont like to be picked up much (I prefer to hop into your lap). Can you help show me the world isnt so scary after all?

Dogs Under 25lb? Yes
Dogs Over 25lb? Maybe (very timid)
Cats/Cages Pets? Should be okay
Babies/Children? Older children only. May nip if chased/cornered, but does well with people old enough to respect his space. With training, this should improve!

My adoption fee has been REDUCED to $150, cash only, thanks to a previous adopter who partially sponsored my adoption fee! This helps cover the cost of my medical care to date (current shots, spay/neuter, heartworm testing if >6mo, etc) and housing! I will go home with a copy of my medical history, an adoption goodie bag, some food to transition my diet, info on pet insurance, and a PetLink microchip with FREE lifetime enrollment! All future medical care (puppy boosters, rechecks, etc) will be my new owners responsibility.
