Hi!  I’m Cooper - the chihuahua with ears to hear everything you say!  Now, whether I listen to those things is another story - hahaha!  

The volunteers that take care of me say the best things - “Coop, you’re such a good boy!” “Coopy - you want some belly rubs?” “Coop, Coop you’re so stinking adorable!”  No one has to say belly rubs more than once to me!  

I’m a pretty chill dude - I love attention, love to bask in the sunshine and be appointed Chief of Squirrel Patrol.  I love to be snuggled in a blanket.  I don’t even mind wearing coats (or funny costumes) - I have my very own monkey costume to bring with me when I bust out of Wags ? 

I don’t love other dogs - In passing it’s not a big deal, but in my home I don’t like to share my people.  Cats are OK if introduced properly - they aren’t my favorite, but I’ll deal with them if that means I will have a family again.  Also, kids aren’t my favorite - the loud noises and quick movements aren’t for me.  

I’m about 5-6 years old and am a small boy, only around 15lbs.  I’ve been in a home before, so I know the ropes of doing my business outside (especially once I learn the routine).  I prefer a fenced yard to explore vs. going on long walks - but you can always carry me if I don’t want to walk as far as you do.  Maybe I’d like one of those doggie backpacks….
