Dino. Chow mix. 12 years old. Male. Dogs. Cats. Kids. This brindled teddy bear is just a giant love with glass brown stone eyes that lasso your soul into a dance of friendship and empathy combined. A lot of soulful side, and a little on the hefty side (we are working on it), doesn’t slow him down a bit. Dino, once Chino, was left behind at the shelter when the family claimed they couldn’t care for him anymore. Dino’s heart was shattered. Seniors have a harder time adjusting to being dumped and shelter life and we completely understand why. Dino quickly became a favorite as he is such a good boy with all. Sadly, Dino was there a month and his anxiety grew daily. Dino couldn’t believe his freedom ride when the day came. A quiet, HUGE smile, and deep breaths took over. Dino is decompressing in foster and his heart is making strides at closure of his past. Tail wags coming more effortlessly and naturally. His foster dog siblings are showing him the ropes and happiness of zoomies in the big yard. Wind down, known as wine down time of the day is welcome when all his humans and furry friends are together in one place, relaxing together. Dino is a walking, talking heart that awaits a warm hearted place to call home, Forever.
