Axel was brought into the common area of the rescue to mingle with the other dogs his size and get some more one on one interaction with people and he has BLOSSOMED into an amazing and sweet little guy. He can still by a bit shy or jumpy but oh my gosh is has really done a 180 with his trust and behavior and we cant wait for his new family to see him grown into a sweet and loving boy.

Axel is a sweet boy, about 15 pounds and two years old. Hes another from our hording case. Unfortunately he just hasnt had the love and affections from humans would make him feel loved so he is a bit timid and shy, he will warm up to the person caring for him but he will need a person that is patient and kind and will give him the time and space needed for him to flourish in his new life. Another well balanced dog in the home would be great as well as a fully fenced and secure back yard.

**This dog is currently at the rescue in TX however you can secure this pup for yourself with a pre-adoption which means getting your app in, approved and then paying the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $350 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesnt work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed. Tall Tails Rescue has a commitment to these dogs for their lifetime and we hope you do too! If you are interested in pre-adoption you can click the link here or copy/paste and fill out the app to get started: https://form.jotform.com/PNWdogs/ttrt-pnw-ap
