MEET LOU!!! Lou is a 4 year old Dogo Argentino Mix with ears that flop so adorably you are bound to instantly fall in love with this handsome dude. Lou came to us as a stray from one of the local animal control facilities and is now looking for a place to call home. He is a character - his facial expressions are priceless - he makes us all smile when we see him. Lou is a special boy because he is deaf, so weve had to be very creative when working with him. We have learned so much about what he needs to thrive as a well behaved pup. Impulse control is key in helping him learn to be calm because he can get frustrated when he gets overly excited. Lou is looking for an adopter that has had experience with either working with, training, or has owned a deaf dog - or someone that has had experience with overly exuberant, large dogs. Ideally, he would love lots of space to run and play, so if possible, he would thrive in a home outside the city - but not required. He is looking for a home with teens and older due to his size and exuberance. Did we mention hes a snuggle bug too? A giant snuggle boy who loves to roll on his back in weird positions when he sleeps. Hes a very entertaining boy with a desire to please his owner. Lou is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team.
