This beautiful but slightly scared, long-haired male cat has just been neutered and received a rabies vaccine thanks to HART, a local cat rescue group that assists the shelter. Staff named him JABS, thinking that he might be a feral cat when he first arrived. However, he was just scared, and had a right to be because he found himself at the shelter with nobody to reclaim him. Poor, gorgeous little fellow. In fact, worse than that, somebody dumped him at the shelter several weeks before staff was able to trap him and take him into the shelter to feed him and make sure he had a soft place to sleep and friends to hang out with during his time there. Now that he is neutered, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! JABS does love to have his head scratched and to be pet. Give it a try and see if if he starts purring for you, Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
