The most gorgeous guy was brought into our care recently! Introducing Peaches. Peaches was brought into our care after living outside as a friendly, neighborhood cat. The person feeding and caring for him thought he would be well-suited for the indoor pet life and we’re inclined to agree! She obviously spent a lot of time with him, because he’s so well-socialized and sweet. Peaches is a young man estimated to be just ~9 months old. After being neutered through our TNR program, he was taken in at Allegan Shelter, microchipped, and brought up to date on vaccinations and prevention. Now he has moved over to Wishbone House and is currently rooming with his dad! The pair gets along, but they’ve made it clear they’re not bonded and could be adopted separately. Peaches is a sweet, gentle boy. He is calm, quiet, and enjoys receiving affection. He also doesn’t mind being held or carried! He has the softest fur and doesn’t mind being brushed. It was so cute to see his first night in “The Penthouse,” he immediately jumped in his new bed and started purring! So far, we think Peaches would be most comfortable in a calm, quiet home that matches his demeanor! Peaches can be visited at the Wishbone House in Douglas. Those interested in adoption can complete a paper application onsite or by completing it online here: https://wishbonepetrescue.org/
