Hyde was surrendered to HSWC in September of 2023.  He came to us from a home with 30+ cats and kittens.  Two of the cats in the home tested positive for the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV).  Hyde, himself, tested negative for both Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).  The FeLV positive cats were immediately pulled and kept separate from the general population.  Hyde will be re-tested for both Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) prior to adoption. If you are interested in adopting one of the cats from this household, please speak with your veterinarian about any questions or concerns that you may have prior to submitting an application.
