Poppy came to OOTS as a stray from Park City. He and his siblings were undersocialized and needed some help from foster families to learn how great life can be! Poppy still has a long way to go, but he is living his best life! Poppy LOVES other cats and even plays with dogs. He enjoys being near his foster parents but isnt quite ready to engage with them and continues to be wary of being handled. For right now, Poppy isnt ready for pets but he will get there one day. Treats are the way to Poppys heart, and he will gladly come to spend time with his fosters for a tasty Churu or freeze-dried salmon. 
Poppy is a handsome cat with medium-long hair, four white boots, and the tiniest paintbrush tail. His foster mom knows he will be an amazing and affectionate cat one day. He will often come and find her and let out the sweetest little mews to let her know its time for treats or play. For now, he is still learning the ropes of how to be a housecat but is constantly making progress! He will greatly benefit from having another confident cat or two in the home.
