Approx DOB: June 2017 Howdy, Im Marcus (ID#20026). Im a very special boy. I spent most of my early life outside as a stray cat. At one point I was part of a trap neuter release program, hence my clipped ear. Fortunately, I was found by Furry Friends Network, and have been enjoying my days since in the comfort of my foster moms home. My foster mom says Ive come a long way since I arrived. Ive learned to play more gently with my foster siblings. I really like grooming, although sometimes I go a little overboard when Im stressed and get some bald patches. My foster mom does a good job with distracting me with wands. I like playing with wands and laser lights too. I can be affectionate, and I absolutely love being petted. As for being picked up and held, lets not go there. My feet stay on the floor, thank you very much. At night, I usually follow my foster mom into bed and do my nighttime grooming routine. I also really like sleeping on crocheted blankets. One of my most prominent traits is that I am deaf, but believe me, that doesnt slow me down, and I can be a great comfort during thunderstorms. I really love my foster home, but am excited to find a home of my own. Think I can be part of your family? All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend.
