Meet Kooper! This handsome, just shy of 9-year-old, black & white guy came to HART through no fault of his own and is waiting to find his new home. It didnt take him long to make friends in his new room. When we come in, he comes over to visit and asks for lots of attention. He likes to play both on his own and with people. What makes him happiest is receiving lots of pets and belly rubs! He has met a staff members dog, and, despite the dogs cat-friendly vibe, Kooper let us know that he does not really enjoy canine company.

Kooper has a few health conditions that require monitoring and treatment, including skin allergies and chronic GI sensitivities. He is currently on duck diet and some medication to help with these issues. Our Medical Team discovered that Kooper has a heart murmur, He just needs to see the cardiologist yearly. Kooper does have some eye discharge that is chronic. He is great about letting you wipe his tears away. 

We will require that his adopter have an established relationship with a veterinarian, and our Adoption Team will review Koopers specific health needs with you prior to adoption.
