Are you a special person with a huge heart? Romeo might just be the cat for you! This handsome 2 year old has made quite a comeback in life. He was found by his foster mom the day the Astros won the World series on his last legs laying in the yard. He was a scrawny 5 pounds, covered in fleas, missing hair, had several puncture wounds from an attack and was suffering from quite a few intestinal parasites. He proved to be a lover, not a fighter. Romeo turned out to be the sweetest, friendliest most proper young man who was just starved for attention as well as food. He was already neutered, so he had a human at one time in his life. Romeo was failed by humans once, and we won’t let that happen again. This boy is laid back and enjoys Cat TV, chilling on the window seal, or napping when he is not busy making biscuits. At night, he plops down on the couch and attentively listens as you explain your day. He chirps reassurances during the conversation while getting pets and belly rubs. Romeo is diabetic. This can be scary to potential adopters, but all it really means is that he needs insulin twice daily. Luckily, he is the perfect patient! Check out the video in his bio to see how easy it is to give him his insulin. Email adoptions@spacecitycats.org if interested in taking Romeo on a 10 day sleepover!
