Description:
Myers is a sweet male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on October 11, 2022. Myers was found fending for himself on Federal Street in Little Hocking Ohio. He was estimated to have been 3-months old at that time.

This little sweetheart was desperately in need of medical attention when he entered our shelter since he had badly-infected eyes which appeared to be undeveloped, and he seemed to have no vision. Our compassionate kennel techs quickly started him on antibiotics in addition to eye ointment (which is visible in these photos which were taken on October 15th).

Myers has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with a black velvet nose and long black whiskers.

In spite of his rugged appearance and eye conditions, Myers has the sweetest disposition and wants attention more than anything else in the world. His hearing seems to be very astute since he quickly comes to the front of his cage for attention the moment he hears the click on the cage door being released. He seems to have limited vision and can perhaps see/sense motion.

Myers was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on October 16, 2023.

Myers weighed 3 lbs on October 11, 2023.

Myers was neutered on November 28, 2023 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 5.2 lbs that day.

This awesome boy is looking for a fabulous home either through adoption or rescue with someone special who will love, cherish, and spoil him to his hearts content.

Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
