December update: Georgie is sweet and playful. He loves ribbon and feather toys the best. He has a bit of an oral fixation so make sure he’s got toys and treats to chew on. He will try to chew fingers but it’s innocent and playful. He will patiently sit near his toys when he wants to me to play with him. Will need plenty of things to scratch on. He gets a little spicy with catnip but he means no harm. He loves his treats and little morsels of plain cooked turkey or chicken. He’s not (yet?) a lap cat but loves to snuggle up close and receive pets. His fave are head/neck and belly scratches. He’s social with other humans but I’m unsure about other cats/dogs since I have none. Isn’t interested in eating houseplants but rubs against them. Vet says he’s about 2-3 years old. He’s a wonderful companion and has a fun but chill personality. I feel very blessed to be his foster mom. ? Georgie was happy being fed on an Oberlin porch, but the homeowners knew that he deserved better. Georgie is the perfect cat if you and all your friends want to feel special. He’s very social and lives for attention without being needy. He also has a playful side and recently discovered that spare collars are especially fun. He was already neutered when he came to us, so he clearly had a family at one point and can’t wait to have one again. He has been vaccinated and tested negative for FELV and FIV. Please contact catssoberlin@gmail.com to inquire about adopting one of our favorites, Georgie.
