Say hello to Lex! Lex is 3 1/2 years old and a sweet loving boy. He is extremely affectionate and loves attention, but prefers to take the initiative to get it. Hell climb right into your lap for some pets and scratches. He just soaks up love and attention! But, while Lex is not shy, he is definitely nervous and anxious, particularly with new people. He does not like to be held, confined, or picked up, but he does love attention and affection and will come right to people he knows to get it! He has a playful side, but when around his foster mom hes generally more interested in getting lots of love.

Lex really likes other cats! While he could be adopted as a single cat (hes lived as one in the past), he enjoys having another cat or humans around and would best thrive in a place where hes not left alone a lot. A friendly kitty friend would probably help him feel more comfortable in his new home.He has no history with dogs and we suspect he wouldnt be comfortable with them. Because he doesnt enjoy being picked up or held, he would best thrive in a quiet home with adults and teens who can understand and respect his boundaries.

We think that, in a home where Lex is accepted for the sweet boy he is, and where his boundaries are respected, he will continue to blossom. He just loves attention and loves pets and scratches and really didnt take long to settle in at his foster home. He is not shy, just a little anxious! Lex is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on all of his vaccinations.
