***AT SHELTER***

Franklin just wants to make friends!

Franklin was indeed a “free man” when he was rescued from wandering the streets as a stray, but given how friendly he is with people, we suspect he previously lived in a home. Sadly, no one came to claim him from the municipal shelter where he was at risk of euthanasia, so EHS rescued him. Now, he’s looking for his very own loving, forever home.

Friendly Franklin is a charismatic cat. He’s gentle, chatty, and handsome! Franklin loves affection and is very easy to pet. He is fine with being held and carried for short periods of time. Maybe he thinks it will lead to extra cuddles! When you pet him, he’ll purr and move closer to your hand, or maybe even show you his belly (we aren’t sure if it’s a trap, though). You will often find Franklin just lounging in his cat bed, waiting for someone to shower him with their love.

We’re still figuring out what else Franklin likes—does he have a favourite toy, does he like other cats, or does he need to be an only pet? We’ll let you know as soon as we figure it out. But given his gentle nature, he would likely be fine in a home with children who can respect a cat’s boundaries and no-go zones.

If you think your new theme song should be “Hey, it’s Franklin, coming to my house…” then contact EHS today!
