Meet the cool as can be, Dewie.  Adorable Dewie was brought to the shelter with several other kitties, by a nice person who wanted them to all find their forever homes.  This big guy has an estimated birthdate of 11/30/21, so hes only about two years.  Dewie is a bit of a beefcake, and is one large, and super loveable boy. Dewie is the definition of a lapcat.  This sweet boy absolutely loves to cuddle up with the staff and volunteers, and will lay in your lap as long as youll let him. He truly has the best personality that you could ask for. This cool guy is accustomed to living with other kitties, and we think that he would likely do fine with dogs too, but with slow and proper introductions for all.  We think that this Grade A good boy would also do fine with children.  Dewie is FIV+, but that is not nearly as scary as it sounds. FIV+ kitties lead long, happy healthy lives and it can ONLY be transmitted through violent fighting with deep bite wounds. It is not transmitted through saliva, scratches, or any other way, other than deep bites. FIV+ and FIV- negative kitties can live together harmoniously, and an occasional little scuffle is nothing to worry about. Would you like to meet this beautiful, and all around wonderful boy? Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older. It includes: a microchip, FeLV/FIV test (if old enough), spay or neuter, set of shots, de-worming, and a 1-year rabies vaccine (if old enough). Fees can be made by cash or credit card.
