Smurf was rescued from Chicago Animal Control after being found as a stray. He’s a young boy estimated to be about a year and half at most. Smurf was very thin when we rescued him, but he’s putting much needed weight on in his foster! He is an energetic, playful boy, that loves stuffy toys. Smurf would love to have another dog in his forever home to play with. He is currently being fostered with three other dogs - he hasn’t been cat tested. Smurf is housebroken and crate trained. Like any young German Shepherd he would benefit from obedience training with his new family. he is very smart and eager to please. If interested in adopting Smurf, please apply at www.gsrescue1.org - please note adopters must be within two hours of Chicago.
