Copper was an owner surrender due to know fault of his own. We believe he had previously been abused. He’s got the sweetest personality and is really laid back. He loves to play and he loves other dogs. He’d do well in a home with another fur baby to play with. He’s very smart, and is now potty trained. Copper has been with us since January of this year. Unfortunately, he got sick and after thorough testing by our vet, he was diagnosed with EPI, a genetic disorder with his pancreas not producing enough enzymes to get the nutrients he needed to gain weight. It is treatable with daily medication mixed in with his food. He’s now gained the weight he needed to and is happy and healthy on his medication. He will not be the large size of a German Shepherd due to the condition he’d been diagnosed with. Copper is looking for a family who will love him and care for him the way he needs forever. Could you be the right family for him?
