Apollo came to Precious Paws from death row at a Virginia Shelter. Apollo arrived in the bed of a pickup truck in a crate covered with tarps. We were horrified and poor Apollo was scared and confused. We gave him some time to decompress. It took us two days to be able to put a leash on him. We have decided that Apollo has likely never had a home. He is learning to play, to eat treats and act like a dog. He enjoys having his booty scratched and getting brushed. He is now a kennel favorite and we would really love to find him a home of his home. Because of his size, we are looking for a kid free home that will take him on walks through the woods and allow him to smell all the Pennsylvania smells. He doesnt poop in his kennel and he is always eager to go for a walk.
