We rescued Hachi from our local shelter when his abusive owner brought him in and asked for him to be euthanized. The shelter saw what a good dog Hachi is and reached out to us.

Hi! I’m Hachi!
The humans tell me I’m probably about 5 years old so I’m past all the puppy stages which I think is a big benefit! 
I’m house broken, I know basic commands, I’m crate trained (I love my crate!) and I won’t chew up your stuff! 
I’m a real big ladies man! 
I love my foster dad but I’ve bonded strongly with my foster mom. 
I was abused by a man and they can still make me nervous from time to time. 
I wouldn’t mind living with a dad but I would love to have a mom too! 
If you want a Velcro dog, I’m your guy! I follow foster mom EVERYWHERE! 
I love to cuddle! My two favorite spots are on foster moms lap or right between both my foster parents.
I do have a GSD brofur that I live with who I look up to but I would probably be just as happy being the only dog.
I do enjoy walks and hikes but I also enjoy just being a couch potato. I’m a pretty mellow guy. 
If you asked my foster mom what she loves most about me, she would tell you that it’s my huge, loyal heart.
The fact that even though I wasn’t shown love in the past, I sure know how to show it!
I can’t wait to meet my forever person and give them all my love!
