Description:
Dave is and 1 yr old male German Shepherd mix, 67 lbs

Behaviour: My foster family and daycare staff describe me as sweet, submissive, playful, and eager to please. I hope you consider adding me as another member of your family. I promise to be a good boy and love you forever!

Good with other dogs. I LOVE playing with other dogs, especially playing tag. (see video in comments)

Children: I love playing with kids too!

Cat Friendly: I am being fostered with 3 senior cats, but they are meanies with me; I love them anyway. (see video in comments)

Potty Trained: Yes, I am let out to potty and play in the backyard 3x a day

Crate trained: Yes. My foster mom says I chew a lot when I get bored, so she leaves me a lot of chew toys that I love in my kennel.

I am a bundle of full energy. I love the outdoors, but I also love going inside to my kennel. I stay in the kennel during the day while my foster mom works.

Training needed: Leash training, learning commands. I do need help with walking on a leash. My foster mom is trying to train me, so I am getting better at it.

Rescue story: I was abandoned on the streets of Houston, TX with my dog sister during an extreme 100+ degree heat wave. My foster mom would go out and feed us. Then one day, my sister was run over by a pickup truck and killed. I was so sad and lonely. My foster mom decided to take me to her home with her other foster animals. I really would love to be adopted into my forever home. With a family who I can love and cherish with my whole heart and with dogs who I can play with.
